On Thursday, January 31, Washington Post Live will host one of most influential Republican leaders in the country, former Governor and Presidential candidate Chris Christie. Robert Costa, national political reporter for The Washington Post will conduct the interview with Christie who promised "not to hold back" and would "set the record straight" in his new book Let Me Finish.Â

The conversation will track Christie's 15 year friendship with President Donald Trump, from Christie's early support of candidate Trump on the campaign trail to Christie being "unceremoniously booted" off Trump's transition team. The interview will also dive into Christie's take on the GOP and reveal his thoughts on Team Trump associates Steve Bannon, the Kushners and Michael Flynn. Chris Christie,the man who might have been Trump's running mate, Vice President, Attorney General and Chief of Staff shares his insights about his experience as confidante and advisor to President Donald Trump. Â
